A small split or a failed edge can be repaired. When water has got into the deck underneath, a repair on the surface will not last, and the roof needs renewing.
Renewing a flat roof means taking it back to the joists where the decking has suffered, fixing new decking, and covering it with a new system.

Not every flat roof is felt. This one, in Woolpit, was covered in Sika Plan, a single-ply membrane.
A single-ply roof is covered with one sheet of membrane rather than built up in layers, which gives a clean, even finish.

We fit EPDM rubber roofs, and recent jobs have used a two-layer IKO felt system and Sika Plan single-ply membrane. The right one depends on the roof, and we'll talk you through it when we quote.
